Atc , three times a lady Swap

Three atcs I've made for Septembers swap over at http://www.ukstampers.co.uk
Vonny arranges the swap each month for anyone that's wants to join in.
So Septembers theme is the song title Three Times A Lady .
The back ground on the atc's is K&Co scrapbook paper & the stamped image is a free stamp that came with a mag. I thought she looks just like a lady so it's working well for this theme.
I've coloured the images with my whisper pens.

Balloons Journal page

We went to see a balloon festival last weekend which inspired me to do this page.
Sadly we didn't get to see the hot air balloons take off because it was to windy.
For my back ground I've used Distress inks Broken glass & Crushed olive. I've used some die cuts as my stencil & then added them to the bottom of my page. The cloud stamps are from Scrapagogo  .
The large cloud was given to me by a kind lady called Janice, & for the small clouds it was a stamp on loan to me from another kind lady called Karen . So a big thank you to you both.

Journal page

Don't you just hate it when you hear people talking about others behind there backs & being really quite nasty at times.
This is what inspired me to do my journal page. & the words I've used.
This is my back ground before stamping & sticking of images.
I used Tim holtzs Distress stains & acrylic paint through stencils .

The lady with umbrella was a free image from the graphic fairy blog, & the other images used are from the Dylusions stamp range.
Really pleased how it all turned out .

Countdown Calender

When my Grandson has an up coming event he has started to tell me how many sleeps he has left.
I thought I would make him a count down so that he can see visually how many days he has left. Also it will be a great help with numbers & counting .
I start with a thick piece of red card 11.5 x8.5,  Red is his favourite colour.
I scored the card at 4 1/4 & again at 7 1/4 inch marks
Out came the neglected Bind it all & punched eleven holes along the both ends of the card.
I then cut the blue wire to fit the holes punched on the card. The card with the numbers measure 1.5 x 2inch & have been rounded at the bottom stamped with numbers . First row will be 1-4, the second row is 0-9 & third row 0-9 as well.
With the card laid out flat I then brought up the top & bottom pieces of card to meet at the top , which then gives you a triangle shape.
Then fed the wire through  remembering to add the numbers before giving it its finally squeeze in the bind it all to close the wires.
I've chosen the camping theme to decorate one side as grandsons mummy & daddy have a caravan & they all love going way on holiday in it.
The countdown can be started at 400 if needed right down to 0.
When the counting down reaches double figures this is what it will then look like
And when it's single figures it looks like this.

Trains Boats & planes ATC

Three atc's for this months swap arranged by Vonny  over at ukstampers.co.uk
The theme Vonny had set was trains, boats & planes.
I didn't have anything small enough in my stash that was small enough ( stamps) for an atc , so from a paper mania travel collection of papers  I had I used the map for my back ground & then cut out the words from a sheet of paper which I think fit well whether  your going by train , boats, or planes.

Summer is here , Art Journal page

I've just finished a summery journal page & thought i's share  how it was made.
To start with I used Studio acrylic paint on my page & applied it with a baby wipe.

I had this paper serviette which I wanted to use because it just reminds me of summer.
I tore it into strips & laid it out making sure I was happy with it before sticking it all down using Mod Podge glue.
When my page was dry i used brushed over my page with a little watered down yellow acrylic paint, the same i had used as my base coat. I then added a boarder around my page using Black Archival ink.
Next using Dylusions solid & open leaf stamps I stamped the leaves in Emerald Green  Archival ink
I've used mainly Dylusions stamps for my summer page.
The words "summer is here" at the bottom of my page was stamped with Monarch Orange ink & everything else has been stamped with the black.
The images I'm thinking of using have been  stamped onto paper. I use a thick paper so that i can use my whisper pens to colour in the images.
Here we are,  this is my finished summery page.
With all the hot weather we've had recently it's made all the bugs come out .
