Time Flies Journal page

My how time is flying past at the moment . As we are approaching the end of another month already It only seems like yesterday it was Christmas.
My page was made using Distress ink , Peacock Feathers, Crushed, Olive & Dylusions Crushed Grape spray ink.
I usually use a green ink pad for my leaves but decided on using a different colour & I think I like the look of the leaves using Tim Holtzs Walnut Stain Distress ink .

Whats on your Work desk Wednesday 351

Its a  chilly start to a Wednesday morning here.
On my desk today I have my two Crop-A-Dial  which I've been using to make holes in some tin pots & then setting the large eyelets I've had laying about in my craft room.  I plan on putting some small plants in the finished pots .& will probably find a home for them on the kitchen window sill .
If you would like to find out more about What's on your Work Desk Wednesday pop over to Julia's place where you'll find all the details. http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk/

Scrapbook Challenge

I've taken part in the weekly challenge over at http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk
Alison set this weeks challenge wanting us to use Vellum, Patchwork, & stitching.
I've made a 8x8 page .
I went through my scraps bag to see what papers I could use from there. I managed to find few pieces that match the photo.
I've done Faux stitching added brads , gromlet & a rub on  word.
The only thing I didn't use was vellum because that's something I've never had.
Now if you fancy a challenge to get you back into scrapbooking & get you motived again just hop over to uk scrappers where you'll find plenty to do.

Scrapbook page (us)

It's not to often that someone takes a picture of me & hubby together as I'm normally the one holding the camera snapping away making sure I've got a photo of everyone else.
So its been nice recently doing layouts using photo's of us.
My latest layout using paper from Echo park & 7 Gypsies .
Boarder stickers by Crate paper & Chipboard shapes by K& Co .
The little blue dots are what is left behind from the blue scalloped boarder sticker under my photo.

February Tag Swap

Another swap I take part in is the monthly tag swap over on http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk
The theme for February is Hearts.
I liked  how Dylan Reavley colours her tags or journal pages then would mask an area, then cover everything in black acrylic paint , then highlight with a white pen.
So i'd had a go with these techniques for my tags for the swap. I'm pleased with how they turned out.
to finish of my tags I added some embellishments.

February Postcard Swap

The theme for February's postcard swap at http://www.ukstampers.co.uk/ is a romantic song title or use some lyric's within a song .
My song title is A Jar Of Hearts, by Christina Perry.
I've used acrylic paint on my back ground & a Tim Holtz heart stencil .
Dylusions stamps for my boarder & the hearts hanging down on the left.
The Jar is an Artistic stampers stamp which was first stamped onto some card & them stamped inside the hearts. Once the hearts & the back ground inside the jar was coloured I cut the jar out & stuck it to my postcard.
