The view of my desk  today is exactly how I left it yesterday afternoon.

Top left your looking at scrapbook paper , beneath the paper are photo's in a box & next to that are rub ons & a pack of mixed embellishment & under these items is a scrapbook I'm going to use to scrap our recent holiday to Cornwall . I've chosen  Kaisercraft products with a seaside theme for my album  . The scrapbook album I've had laying around for ages & will work out just right for this project.

Christmas Atc's

This has to be first for my making things for swap with a Christmas theme.

Well that was the swap I joined in over at ukscrappers.

For the back ground I've used scrapbook paper by K& Co. The numbers & Deer are movers & shapes die cuts. The numbers I used Tim Holtz crackle paint but I didn't think it turned out to well so I painted on Mod pod sparkle which I think makes them look much better.

Scrapbook Layout Ukscrappers weekly Challenge

This weeks Challenge set by Susan from Ukscrappers was to use this bingo card & 

choose a vertical, horizontal or diagonal line and make your Lo page using those elements.

My page is for my simple Stories album .

My base card has a grid, I've used Washi tape, A bird , & did faux stitching around the edge .

What a good  challenge & a very easy to help make a Layout, So thank you Susan.

So my desk today is my art journal that I have open & my next page i'm finishing off.

above my journal is the trusted kitchen roll which is always to hand. next to this in there holder are my whisper pens & a pot of Poca pens .

The butterflies already stamped out will be used on my page as well.

Post card swap for July

The post card swap hosted by Sam over at ukstampers for this month has an open theme but use wheels.

This is my take on it. 

I used acrylic dabbers Hazelnut & Pool for my back ground & to fill in the Dylusions stamped boarder along the bottom.
The bike is a stamp by Paperartsy & the birds & words are Tim holtzs stamps.

Art Journal page

It's been a week since we can back from our holiday in Cornwall & it was this trip that gave me my inspiration for this page .

I've used Paperartsy acrylic paints for my back ground & the stamps used are Dylusions boarder stamp & Crafty Individual seaside stamp .  

Walk like an Egyptian Atc's

This months theme for the atc swap over at UkStampers is the song title walk like an Egyptian .

The body was an image I found on the internet & the head is a stamped  which was loaned to me by a good crafting friend Sue.
