A Proud moment Scrapbook layout

What a proud moment this was now only for us as grand parents but also for our grandson .
He was awarded a star for his story writing about Goldie locks & the three bears.
Here he is holding up his star award & his school writing book.
I took a photo of his school book so I could add this to my layout.
Now over on http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk Karen has set the weekly challenge for this week .
Karen wanted us to
Use red, white and blue,
Stars and Stripes
Scrap about something that makes you happy.
I'm going to add this to the weekly challenge as my take on this theme.

Scrapbook page

I made this layout using a sketch which I saw again on Sue's Blog http://miniowner.blogspot.co.uk/
The Sketch for June was this one , & thanks Sue for another get sketch to use .
Here is my finished layout  In the park on a Sunny but chilly February morning .

The main paper I chose for this layout was from My Minds Eye called Abbey Road, which was a fairly plain back ground & trees at the bottom.
The strips of pattern paper & the strip at the top with the clouds on I cut from some Simple Stories paper.
My title letters Spring are small sponge alpha's & the tag at the bottom I made using some stamps I had .

June Postcard Swap

There is a postcard swap that runs every month over on http://www.ukstampers.co.uk/forums/index.php
The theme for this month is flowers.
I found it quite easy today to sit down and make my postcard for the swap because its a lovely warm day with a beautiful blue sky .
For my back ground & stamped flower image I'd chosen to use Paperartsy acrylic paints, Limelight, Smurf, Snowflake, & Smoked Paprika.
The birds are stamps by Crafty Individuals & the flower stamps are by JOFY 12.

June Tag Swap

This months tag swap over at ukscrappers.co.uk has the theme of Flowers .
I've tried going with a flowery  vintage theme with my tags.
I've used Bo Bunny papers on my tags & used glossy accents on some of the flowers to make then stand out a bit more.
The row of flowers along the bottom of my tags are made by K&Co and I added some little gems onto them.
Each tag also has a metal butterfly & some buttons .

Get Well Card

A get well card using a stamp by High Hopes.
I've coloured the stamped image using distress inks.
I used spell binders dies to make the shape of the topper for my card & added some gems & buttons to match the paper used for my back ground.
