WOYWW 188

Here on my desk which i must admit was taken last night & a part from the bowl my desk is still looking the same this morning. So why am i showing you my messy desk come with my to Julia's place where all will become clear. http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk/.
I was watching a couple of youtube video's by Kaz Hall http://thelittleshabbyshed.blogspot.co.uk/  & a clever idea she had using washing up liquid soap bubbles to get some fun back grounds using Dylusions spray inks & Distress inks.
I've use Distress ink Moss green, Dylusions Post box red, & Bubble gum Pink. London blue & Vibrant Turquoise. I've also added Perfect Pearls mist Forever Red & only wish the camera could pick up the lovely shimmer on the card.
Right i'm off to do a bit of blog hopping to see what everyone has been up to.

  4. love the soap bubble backgrounds. Have you ever used shaving cream the same way? My friend made some awesome ones by spreading the cream over the card then spraying. As the bubbles died away it left interesting patterns too. Hope you have a great week! Vickie #31

  13. I absolutely LOVE playing with Dyan Reavely's Dylusions sprays. Of course, rubber gloves are usually a must. I have forgotten on many occasions and walked around for days with red, green, or blue hands. LOL.

I am a friend of Sandee. Hope you get a chance to check out my blog.

  20. I've been wanting to play at the bubble inducing background, it looks like it would be so much fun...I'd probably end up with colorful clothes and carpet when finished though...maybe an outdoor activity for me? lol waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)

  29. Hi Jill, got to try this soapy bubbles technique - the results look amazing. I think it might be something like the shaving foam method of colouring paper - perhaps a bit wetter though :) Thanks for sharing - as always I enjoyed reading your post. Elizabeth x #69

  30. I must try that bubbly technique, and the addition of glimmers would be fantastic. Perhaps we should start doing videos of our aparkly and shiny things. They never show up well on photos. Have a good week. xx Maggie #32
