Today on my desk i have two projects on the go. One is an altered canvas for a swap & the other is the starting of another swap i'm taking part in.
So to the left is the Canvas thats had some brown paint put on it , i know not very exciting at the moment is it. To the right is my pot with my paint brushes & behind that my box with stamps in.
Right front i have the letter C drawn out on corigated card ready to be cut out .
So whay am i showing you my desk hop over Julia's to find out more of what goes on on a Wednesday http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk/
One last thing i like to say is , when i visit your blog i might only say a few word about what you have on your desk & that is only because i'm not very good at writing lots , so if i just say it's great or lovely i really do mean that & really do like what your showing us all.
Hope everyone has a good day .
Can't wait to see your finished canvasses ... I'd love to Have-a-Go myself but am nowhere near brave enough! Thanks for visiting my blog earlier ... love your Tim Tag by the way ... I'm not only a *S*N*O*W* freak but a HOLTZ freak too! D #69 xXx

ReplyDeleteThat is such a great size of canvas to do for a swap, mine are all large and I stare at them blankly for ages, will have to investigate getting some your size. Had a look back at your blog and your Tim tag is wonderful and love your journal pages too! Thanks for visiting me earlier too. Happy WOYWW, Anne x #57
ReplyDeletelooking forward to seeing your canvas ... starting with one colour is often the best way to start. Then you can build and add to your hearts content.

Can't wait to see how your canvas turns out! I don't usually start with one color though. I just keep adding colors till I'm happy with how the background looks. I think my hands have a mind of their own! lol
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW from Egypt. xx

You know what Jill, any comment is a gift of your time and thought, so no matter its short or wordy, believe me. Really like the start you've made on the canvas, really rich colour, like the dry brush texture you've achieved. Am intrigued by the number of Cs you've drawn out..oh wait, just a split second thought..it's an alpha swap right? Doh!!
ReplyDeleteLovely tidy desk. Just wondering now what you're going to do with all the 'Cs'?
ReplyDeleteBernice #63
Love the promise of what's to come! Your stamp box looks interesting too! Thanks for your visit, Chris86
ReplyDeleteWonderful deskJill, Iwonder what will end up on your brwon canvas. Its wonderful Jill. Michelle x #61
ReplyDeleteOhhh, you must be in some sort of alpha swap...Hoe you will show us the finished results.
ReplyDeleteI have never done a canvas but always love to look at them. Especially if there is a walk thru explaining the various step of "construction".
So you are a woman of few words. I like that. ;-) I look forward to seeing what you create for your swaps and I am feeling some more stamp envy seeing all those lovely stamps on your desk. :-) April #110
ReplyDeleteI'm not good with words also, so understand. I wish blogs had a "like" button like on facebook
ReplyDeleteHi Jill - no need for many words. Lots of great stamps there!! Belated Happy WOYWW, Di xx #68
