Hello everyone ,
It's wednesday again so it must be desk hopping day over at Julia's place.
On my desk i have my BIA & next to that i've a mini book i've just made to hold some atc's.
The stamped image on the top will coloured & added to the front cover with other bits & bobs.
On the craft mat is a canvas i've had to repaint over because i did an image transfer & did'nt quite like the effect of it once it was done. So i thought i'd paint over it & do something else.
Well thats all from my desk today come & join me having some fun sharing your desk here
Wow! Your desk is so neat and tidy! love this blue colour on the canvas! Have a great day and happy WOYWW! kissinia
ReplyDeleteThat's the joy of crafting - if you don't like it 99% of the time you can go over it and start again. Love the new colour of your canvas and good luck with the book you are making.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing - Hugs, Neet #20 xx
I know all about painting over something - always doing it. Book looking good and a reminder to me that I haven't used my BIA for ages.

Thats the best thing about paint and canvases...whatever you don't like you can get rid of and start again! Love the turquoise! Trish #75
ReplyDeleteAh, the ancient art of slapping paint over it and starting again! My art journal is full of that. And some canvases are an inch thick with paint! Great colour choice.

You're definitely not alone in the repainting canvas world! I haven't tried transfers yet, but I'm curious about them. One day!

ReplyDeleteThe nice thing about canvas is if you don't like how it turned out, just paint over it and try again. The mini book is looking good. It is a great idea to hold ATCs.
ReplyDeletethe great thing about what we do is that we can just 'paint over' it isn't it, after all it is just a piece of paper.
ReplyDeletethe image of the person looks interesting

You've just reminded me that I need to get my BIA out of its box and actually use it - I've had it three years.... doh!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by this week.
I guess the beauty of Acrylic paint and a canvas is that you can start again from scratch with ease when it doesn’t turn out the way you want it too. Loving the base colour….it matches your Bind-it-All perfectly!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by this week.
Happy Crafting!
