I had to make a Chunky Atc for a swap over on ukscrappers. The choosen theme by the lady i was making it for was Domestic Goddess.
I started with two pieces of wood each mearusing 3.5 x 2.5inches & 1 inch thick & 4 wooden beads which i planned on using for the feet.
I painted each piece with Cludine Hellmuth's Altered orange Acrylic paint. The chip board frame was covered with Gold Viva Croco crackle paint . I used Green Viva Inka Gold to rub on the wood & chipboard frame once dried.
The rollong pin & the butterfly were coloured with distress broken china & then stamped using a checked stamp. The copper utencils i found in my local wool shop.
A brass hinge was attached to hold both pieces of wood together & lastly 2 october afternoon card were placed inside.
I can know show this atc because i know it has arrive to my swap partner & she was very pleased with it.
Love it Jill. Domestic goddess indeed! I would never have thought of hinging two together but it so works. It is stunning.
