Tag

I've made a tag for a challenge over at http://simonsaysstampandshow.blogspot.co.uk/ The theme is  A Kaleidescope of Colour.

I coloured my tag with Mustard seed distress stain.
The white swrils were stamped with white Acrylic paint & a Tim holtzs stamp.
Most of the other stamping was done using Paperartsy stamps .
I've used glossy accents on the flower heads & buds to make them stand out more.  Iused some Kaisercraft rhinestaones on the body of the moth.

Journal page

Another art journal page from me today. The back ground was done using Dylusions spray inks & most of the stamps are dylusions also..

Over on ukscrapper this weeks hints were to try some hidden journaling or to do something that draw your eye away from your journaling.

I'm pleased with the way this worked out. I went for the second option of drawing the eye away from my writing.

So here's my desk again .

As you can see i've been playing around making a tag using a Tim Holtzs  ticket stamp called Admits one, along with  distress inks, & distress crackle clear rock candy.

To the left of my desk you can see two stamps that i've used as well as my tub with i store Acrylic paints. The other boxes have inks & spray's. The bottom left is the tag & to the right are the sponges i've just cleaned & left to finish drying on some paper towel.

Here is my finished tag up close  . the photo is'nt really showing the clear rock candy crackle paint.

Journal Page

Over on ukscrapper Leanie  http://craftaholicleanie.blogspot.co.uk/ sets a challenge each week to help those of us wanting to try our hands at art journaling & last weeks one was about white space. I like to look every week at the challenges but might not do anything .
I did take part last week & here is my page . I'm one of those people who over do things on a page as i never know when to stop .
My hand was itching to put more on this page , but i manage to restrain myself for once.

Atc book

I'm taking part in an Alice in wonderland  atc swap hosted by Rebecca  http://paperfunwithbex.blogspot.co.uk/over on ukscrappers and my chosen atc's to make were Alice.
After sending of my alice atc's i was left with one spare, So from some free images of other alice in wonderland charecters i set about making a set of atc's & made a little mini album for them to go in.

The stamps images i've used on the front of the mini book are Paperartsy stamps & also the grunge rose was made from another stamp by paperartsy.

The paper used was from Pigy tales & is from the jack & jill collection .

i stamped the plain green side using distress ink & a back ground B-line stamp. I cut some fancy corners from a sizzix die.

Yesterday afternoon i thought i'd play with the Dylusions spray ink & Tim's distress inks.
My plan of attack was to get plenty of card sprayed & inked up so that while it was drying i could then be tidying up ready to get started on some atc's.
I got to make complete one atc of the raven which is a stamp from The Octopode Factory.
The other atc in the making is the mad hatter which has been stamped & embossed in the Rangers detail black embossing power. The base card was put through an embossing file on my bigshot , then used black utee & a little perfect pearls which gives a great look i think.
The lace board i cut using Martha Stewart punch, the two clocks i've  stamped i placed two spoon brads i had in the middle ready to put on the atc .
On the top left of my craft mat i've another atc side card ready to do something with , & at the top right of my craft mat you can see my inky card pile ready to play with.

Whats on Your Work Desk Wednesday 149

Hope everyone had a lovely Easter & plenty of chocolate .
Here we are again another Wednesday has come round again so it's time to wander over to Julia's place to join in the fun for Whats on Your Work Desk Wednesday, http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk/ .

Here's my desk today And you might say to yourself there's not much craft going on there, & a bit boring.
My Bind it all Has come down from the shelf & had a dusting . I plan on making a travel book to hold all the bits & bob's a gather from our holiday last year.
I have started one page .
I've got a pack of money envelopes which  will be turnned in mini pockets once covered with paper.
Well thats it from me today , i'm heading over to Julia's place to join in the fun. Happy Crafting everyone

WOYWW 148

What a difference a week makes, last week it was lovely & warm with record temputures being reach in many parts of England.  This week it's all change with snow & blizzards in Scotland. We've had rain since yesterday afternoon which i must admit hte garden really needs a good soaking & my water butts need filling.                                 So wendesday has arrived again so lets all head over to Julia's place http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk/for some fun seeing what everyone has been up to since last week.         So here is my desk i have a journal page which is just finished.

The images i used were free of the internet & the dressmodel is Graphic45 with a mans head stuck on  top.

The back ground was made using Dylusions spray inks which i'm lovely using. I went round the images with a white Posca pen . Hope everyone has a happy crafting day .
