What's on Your Workdesk #356

Hello & I hope everyone has had a good Easter.

The box at the top of my desk holds my acrylic paints & either side you can see the brick stencil & some Gelatos crayons I've just brought.

Below is my art journal with a page I've started to work on along with   Jofy Paperartsy stamps I'm planning on using on my page.

 

Scrapbook layout

I've just completed a layout of my grandson who has a cheeky little smile that melts your heart.

The photo was taken last year by the corn fields near by.

I've used a lace cut edge paper by Dejaview .

Scraps of paper that are also from the same paper maker. I often go through my scraps to see what can be used on layouts.

I've also used some chip board buttons & a butterfly & a heart which I'd coloured with Versafine Vintage Sepia.

I found a Bingo type card in my stash with the month on & circled the number 1 which was the date of the photo.

Atc's

A couple of Atc's from me today using the Tim holtzs  vintage car stamp again.

These have been made for a swap with the theme Transport.

The stone work is a stamp by Paperartsy Jofy which has been coloured using distress ink .

Whats on Your Wpork Desk Wednesday # 354

On my desk today I have my monthly mini project life album open at the back of my desk & in front I have two photos for  February left to do  of myself & daughter in law with the youngest Grandson meeting Pepper Pig in our local Library last month.

Although Grandson likes watching Pepper Pig like most children when they meet characters they go all shy & every time pepper pig moved, her head came away from her body but I don't think he noticed that.

March Tag Swap

The theme for this month was to use arrows.

Here are a list of thing's I've used to make my tags,

I've use distress inks ,

Broken China,

Tumbled glass,

 Scattered Straw &

 Walnut stain,

Comic shimmer Penny Copper.

 

Journal page Thoughts

I started my journal page using black acrylic paint which had been applied using a baby wipe, also blue & white acrylic paint  & then I sprayed some Glimmer mist , Bronze, & Blue Denim over the top to give that lovely shimmer & shine.

I've used a large Dylusions stencil which I went round the shape to highlight it with a posca white & gold pens.

The letters were cut using a sizzix alpha die & I used a couple of stamped images already in my stash.

 

March Postcard Swap

The theme for the postcard swap over at http://www.ukstampers.co.uk

is to use spring colours.

I've used Claudine Hellmuth Studio acrylic paint Yellow Pastal & Landscape green through a stencil to give me my back ground.

I then stamped over this with a Jofy paperartsy stamps & colours with the same paints as my back ground.

I stamped a butterfly & used alpha stamps by Tim Holtzs.

The circles I've used Cosmic shaimmer Penny Copper through a stencil.

I'm pleased with how my postcard turned out & fits in with spring colours.

My desk today looks like this with my craft mat out on the desk with a box of distress inks , Tim Holtzs stamps & a pack butterflies on it.

Towards the back is a tag I've been working on a swap , just got another two to make .
