Atc's

The theme for the atc swap  for February  set by Vonny from  http://www.ukstampers.co.uk is the song title Bicycle Race.

Here are the atc's  I've made & my take on this theme.

Hearts

I thought I'd share two mdf hearts I've altered .

The first one was covered using scrapbook paper . I added some foam letters , A wooden embellishment & added a Prima flower in the middle.

I wanted to keep it quite simple & not go over the top with it.

 My second heart is slightly different .

I used very berry& pumpkin soup  acrylic paint from paperartsy . I also used the paperartsy crackle finish as well.

The leaves & the heart I cut using sizzix dies & edge the hearts with white paint.

A Tim Holtzs ticket & flower & a brad I've used.

Whats on Your Work Desk 295

My desk today is how I left it on Monday afternoon .

 I've got my tag ready Cut some leaves & hearts to use but that's as far as I got .

I've been really struggling to get back into the flow of crafting this month.

So it's a short post from me today & I'm off to look round to see what everyone else has on there desk .

Whats on Your work Desk Wednesday 294

My desk today looks like this ,with the last page I'm working on in an album I've made for my daughter in-law .

The album is my grandsons first year.

The tags in the pockets on the right hand side are hand prints & a foot print which makes for a little something extra special in his album.

In the box above I've two hearts that need altering at some stage.

Post Card Swap

Here's my entry for this months post card swap on www.ukstampers.co.uk

Sam sets the theme each month & this month the them was Panto.

This is my take on the theme.

My back ground was done using Paperartsy Acrylic paints, Guacamole & plum.
I then stamped over this a Tim Holtzs stamp with tickets on.
For my theatre curtains I used a dylusion boarder stamp & painted it with the  Guacamole paint.
The mad hatter is another stamp I had.

Atc's

My two atc's for a swap at my local craft club. the theme for this month was love /hearts.

My back ground was made using black embossing powder which at first didn't look right so I lighten it up with yellow & gold acrylic paint. The hearts were cut using some cardboard packaging .

The cherub is a little sizzix die I have.

My desk today is a bit of a mess & now that Christmas is well & truly over i'm trying to get back into my crafting again.

So let me tell you what's in the box with the blue lid . It a box of Christmas crafting item & on top is box of Christmas stamps.

Below the a bag of old crafting mags I've go ready to take to my crafting club on Thursday to see if any of the other ladies there want them.

On the right side of the box are some more stamps & just below them are the Christmas photo already printed out ready for scrapbooking.

All that jazz Atc Sawp

Another song title atc swap i'm  taking part in over at ukstampers.co.uk this month with the song title All that Jazz.

Here is my take on this months theme.

My crafting friend sue loaned me the stamps of the piano key board & the musician so I could make my atc's.

I've also made a little pocket for the atc's to go into with a couple of die cut musical notes .
