Its Wednesday again so lets hop over to Julia.s place to see what everyone has on there desk today. http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk/
I wanted to make a Tilda doll so out came the sewing machine . I'm not very good with a sewing machine & still learning as i go along. The body for my doll turned out ok , but when it came to making the dungaree's i just coundn't get them right so i've ended up making her a dress instead.
Looks like i need to practice more.
I wouldn't know where to start with a sewing project! Looks terrific to me, I love Tilda. Happy WOYWW. Pam#14
ReplyDeleteYour doll is awesome and a PERFECT example of why I only sew on paper.
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW from # 7.
You are lucky to have a thing that resembles a doll, in my case, it would never have got out the starting blocks as sewing is not my thing! I would still have very flat fabric! #23
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW. Fab Tilda doll - and her dress is gorgeous (I wouldn't be able to do either - so I salute you!). Ali x #28

I love your doll and I'm always impressed with those who can sew! It's something I've never got on with ... too clumsy and impatient I think! Happy Woyww and thanks for sharing Liz@130
ReplyDeleteAll sewing is improvised as far as I'm concerned! You've made a great job of the doll with her dress!

ReplyDeletethanks for dropping by my blog for WOYWW. As usual I am late getting around but here I am at last :o). I need a new sewing machine as my old faithful died a few weeks back. Love how your Tilda doll is going...you may need more practice but you are leaps and bounds ahead of me in the sewing department LOL
