Here we are again another Wednesday has rolled around & it's time to go over to Julia's place to see what everyone has on there desk each & every Wednesday. http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk/
I've decorated an extra large tag which is for a challenge set be myself & two other crafting friends.
I've covered the tag with scrapbook paper & then used some acrylic paints & stencils to get this effect on the tag that you can see.
I've still got a little more to do to my tag before thrusday when i get to meet up with my crafting friends.
Looks as if you are having some messy fun there Jill! Happy WOW day Jill x
ReplyDeleteSo... what we all really want to know is... How on earth do you manage to keep everything on your desk so clean and tidy when you're playing with paints??!! *lol*
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful WOYWW!

OOh that's clever - did you apply the paint through the stencil with the lolly stick thing? Either way, the tag looks lovely. I always go too far, knowing when to stop is a huge issue for me! Have a great time tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteHi julia , yes i did apply paint through a stencil. I have trouble sometimes knowing when to stop & not over do it with inks 7 paint but i'm getting better.
DeleteYour tag is looking great and I hope we see the finished result.

ReplyDeleteI really like that tag. Funny, but when getting inky and painty I generally start with a piece of white or cream card - but the effect you got on the scrapbook paper (is is Que Sera Sera?) is so pretty I feel like I have to experiment now!
ReplyDeleteCheers!

I like the look of that tag, Jill. I never think of starting with patterned paper, must break out of my comfort zone and give it a go.
