Altered Tin
When i first saw this tin i just knew i would be able to transform it into something much better looking.
Paper used was Graphic45 , shelves were cut using one of my on the edge dies from cardboard & paper.
The face i made using Fimo in a silicone mould & used Gold rub'n'buff. The glasses & crown i found in a craft shop . the bottles i had in my stash , the bottle top picture was cut from a graphic45 image & then covered with a clear dome cover.

Foil Flowers
Foil flowers cut using the Tim Holtzs Tattered florals dies.
I first saw how to make these flowers from another blogger Lin brown http://yoursartfully.blogspot.com/ who's work i admire.
I tried this by using the bottoms of some foil food trays .
Once i'd cut out some flowers , i then put them in an embossing folder and run it through my bigshot.
I then painted the flowers with black acrylic paint . i left them for about a minute then wiped of some of the piant which had not dried.
I dadded them with Alcohol Inks Butter Scotch & Rust to give them some colour.
I shaped the flower petals & stuck them together with some glossy accents .

Woyww 137
So here we are again on another woyww.
I did tidy my desk before showing because it was in a right old pickle.
At the bottom you'll see my art journal page which i think is nearly finished, but will look at it again later on just to see if it does need anything else added.
The top right a tin i'm playing around with trying to alter it & some faces made out of fimo, which have been baked in the oven & now ready to use for other project.

Art Journal
This year i'm i thought i'd have a try at art journaling, after seeing some of the work done by a lady called Rachel on youtube who goes by the name of Racho113 .
Her work is lovely not just her journaling but her other creations are wonderful & she makes it all look very easy.
I've joined a new group over on ukscrapper on art journaling so i'm hoping to pick up some great tips from the other ladies on there.
Well here it its my first page
I'm using a Moleskine journal but the pages seem a little thin to me so decided to stick three pages together to make the pages a little thicker.
I sprayed the page with tattered angles glimmer mist, Denim blue , spring violet, bronze, & coral.
I'm not sure if i really like this page or if i've i have done it correctly.
I will try not to give up just yet , because i'm going to play around with acrylic paint for another page.

woyww 136
This is my first post of the year.
So here's what i have on my desk right now.
The box you see on my desk did'nt start out like this , it was something i picked up in a charity shop for 50p,
This is what it looked like before i altered it.
It was a sweet little money box for someone called Jack.
When you slide the acorn across it locks the box.
I knew when i saw this it would make a nice little treasure box for my grandson even though his name was'nt Jack.
My little grandson likes to watch Jack & the pirates on the Disney channel, and at the age 2 now he's just gettin into looking for treasure, which gave me the idea to alter this for him.
The paper i used was Teressa Collins Extreme Boy, & i found some upholstery tacks in the garge which fitted in well for the treasure chest theme i was going for.
