Good morning everyone , hope you are all well out there in blog land.
It's been a while since I last join in with woyww & if anyone would like to find out more have a look here http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk/
I've gone back to doing a little cross stitching .
I got a pattern from Pinterest for a Christmas tree & saw that some one had used beads on their tree which gives more dimension & makes it look very pretty .
I know a lot will think Christmas again already but I also plan to make a lot more Christmas cards this year to get through some of my stash.
Hi Jill. It's good to see you joining in the fun this week. I used to do lots of cross stitch but haven't done any for years....but I have got the grandchildren doing it lately 😀 Love the Christmas tree design.

What a very pretty piece of cross stitch. I envy your talent - anything with a needle is a hopeless cause for me. I hope to make more Christmas cards for 2017 so I should get started now .... Mary-Lou #26
ReplyDeleteHi Jill, thanks for visiting me. I think that tree is going to be very pretty - love beadwork, I have a huge project that is half finished with beads/x stitch that I get out now and again - need to do something with it but can't think what - I don't have the eyesight anymore for stitching, used to love it, so therapeutic. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one slaving away at Christmas! I have done a lot of cards already, and will have another bash next week and then maybe dedicate a week's crafting to Christmas in the Summer. I find I have lots of ideas in January, and it is so much less stressful in December if you only have a few special things to do! Happy WOYWW, Cindy x
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW. It seems ages since I did any cross stitching, even though I have so many kits, thread, patterns and Aidi sitting in my craft room. These days I tend to stick to paper crafting. Love the beading on the tree.

Hi Jill, that tree sounds like a lovely idea. I too will be making Christmas cards all year- so much less stressful. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #5 XxX
ReplyDeleteHi Jill, lovely cross stitching. The addition of the beads makes the tree look all the more festive. You're not the only one planning to make more Christmas cards throughout the year, it's may aim too. Otherwise it would be a last minute panic and I'm not pretty when I panic :) Thanks for dropping in earlier and leaving a comment. Have a great week. Elizabeth x #21
ReplyDeleteI love that cross stitched tree...I saw that and mother got a card very similar. I too hope to do cards for a while, so much stash and never enough time in Nov/Dec. Thanks for visiting and enjoy a great week.
ReplyDeleteI love cross-stitch... But I'm not very good at it. I get in a right pickle! Happy WOYWW! Sez X #42
ReplyDeleteLove the cross stitch I too will need to be more organised for Christmas this year as it was all a little last minute!!
ReplyDeleteHi Jill, I've made the decision to use charity cards for Christmas and used up all my Christmas stash for this last one.
ReplyDeleteThe beads will make your cross stitch stand out.
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
