On my desk today I have my monthly mini project life album open at the back of my desk & in front I have two photos for February left to do of myself & daughter in law with the youngest Grandson meeting Pepper Pig in our local Library last month.
Although Grandson likes watching Pepper Pig like most children when they meet characters they go all shy & every time pepper pig moved, her head came away from her body but I don't think he noticed that.
Anyway if your wondering why i'm showing my desk today hop over to Julia's & you will find out why http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk/
what a sweet memory! Happy WOYWW Helen #1
ReplyDeleteLovely tidy dark!
ReplyDeleteAww it is so sweet when little ones go shy like that. What a fab way to preserve the memory.

Oops! Obviously I meant "desk" ! ;-)
DeleteHa ha!!! Good thing your grandson did not notice about the head! Cute layout!!! Happy WOYWW! patsy
ReplyDeleteGreat desk shot Jill, I love the page layout. My niece is the complete opposite of shy, she was telling Minnie Mouse to sit at her birthday table for some cake and which juice would she like! ha ha! At least she didn't forget her manners. Thanks for sharing Happy WOYWW Lyns #17
ReplyDeletemy son is the same, he does not like those characters, and who can blame them they are quite scary and better not to trust them as they are strangers :-) happy WOYWW, Vicky#9
ReplyDeleteThat's a happy LO with some great memories - I don't blame your GS for being shy of an enormous pig!
ReplyDeleteHugs, LLJ 11 xx
Great shot of your desk. I think I'm with LLJ - I'd be shy of a great big pig, too!!
ReplyDeleteTake care. God bless.

Those characters really are a bit larger than life for most little ones aren't they? They are safe from inside a TV set lol
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.

How sweet! Children don't notice details about the characters, like the potential trauma of her head falling off - its definitely a grown up thing! Memories of the shyness for me..happy days!
ReplyDeleteAwww - how sweet. Happy memories for you to look back on!

Good morning Jill. Love the shot of your desk and I have never heard of that show but I know have teenagers so it has been sometime since watching them for me. What cute memories they will make in your book. Hugs }Anne L # 36
ReplyDeleteWonderful layout! Sounds like a fun day that your kids enjoyed. My great nephew really likes that show (at least he did when I visited him last year lol).

ReplyDeleteI am so impressed that you do this photo album. What a keepsake. I am so bad, I have most of my photos that are not in frames in a box or on my devices! :)
ReplyDeleteI have never attempted a project life book but would love to see a finished one. I don't scrapbook so much anymore but love looking through the memories. You and your family can enjoy yours for years to come too!
ReplyDeletehave a happy week

I contemplated project life but decided to stick to December Daily's. I don't have enough of a life to make a project out of it lol! Thanks for the visit! Angie #48

That looks like it is going to be a great colourful page. Yes, all children like Peppa Pig.
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW,
Thanks for visiting,
Have a good week,
Lisca
Love how you scrapbooked this memory. They do look 'larger than life' when they meet them in person. I remember Kassie meeting Clifford the big red dog. Big enough in the cartoon but in person - wow! LOL for a little girl who barely stood 3'. Creative Blessings! Kelly #53
ReplyDeleteLovely project.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
