Chunky ATC

I joined a swap over at ukscrappers to make a chunky atc. The swap partner i was given had chosen the theme of Ravens & Crows.
It was my first time make a chunky atc from a piece of wood which has to measure the same as a normal atc but instead of it being flat it had to be between 1inch -1 1/2 inches thick.
I used a primer on the wood before painting on the black acrylic paint.
From metal foil i cut out the pieces to decorate the front, back, & sides to cover the chunky atc .

I then painted & embossed the metal with black acrylic paint and left it till it was nearly dry then wiped off some of the black paint. When this was completely dry i lighty dabbed over the top with gold acrylic paint which then gave it and aged look to the metal .
I attached the metal foil with a little glue & up holstery tack. I used nuts & bolts for the feet of the atc.

I painted a chip board frame with Viva gold crackle paint and was so pleased with the way it turned out .

I stamped an image Called the Raven by The Octopode Factory & coloured the dress & face of the bird.

The leaves & branches i cut using a Tim Holtzs die . I used distress in to coulour the leaves & stamped the pattern on the leaves .
I'm so delighted with how this turned out .
