I've spent the last few days decorating two tags.
I like the results but i think my favorite is the one on the left which has slightly darker tones.
Now completed this morning
I used one of my old medallion stamp which to be honest i'd forgotton i had them. I also used a swirls stamp . These i stamped with StazOn Saddle Brown.
I used Distress inks Spiced Marmalade, Crussed Olive, Fired brick, Dried Marigold, denim blue.on both tags to get that blended look from the colours used.
To get the colour insde the medallion image i used my trusty water colour brush to pick up a little ink and used it as a water colour.
The white was a Sakura glaze pen which is something else i've not used in such a long time.
Added embellishments were Graphic 45 butterflies , blooms , brad , & a couple of gems .
After using the medallion stamp & my Sakura pen it's left me wondering how many of us have still got these thing & when was the last time they were used.
I'd agree, i think the one on the left is my fav too but there both lovely

grat way to use your medallion stamp I must say. I like the darker toned one but the smaller claret-y coloured flower. Gah, no pleasing everyone huh!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tags and loved seeing the process. I think the one on the left is my favourite too, the blue really makes the darker tones pop.
